About Me

I am interested in all sorts of metal working. I have not had any formal education, but I have taught myself to weld, run a Mill and a lathe. I consider my self an rank amatuer. So any help I can get is appriciated.

I build large and small copper fountains mainly. Some sculpture but the fountains are my bread and butter. I've been doing it now for a little over 25 years. Website is waterfallforge.com if you'd like to see what I'm up to normally. Just got flooded out in the great Louisiana Flood of 2016 and am trying to rebuild and upgrade what I'm doing. Good to be here on this forum. Lots of good info already.

About Me

Munga,

I'm a hobbie metal banger. I've had some training from a gentleman in London, Ontario (John Crossley) who is a professional fabricator. Over the last 5 years I built up a nice little work shop with a Pullmax P3 machine, welding machine, spotwelders, plasma cutter, lathe, milling machine, grinder etc... I currently looking for a planishing hammer and a power hammer to complete my shop.

Past projects consist of custom motorcycle tanks and some metal art. Hopefully, I can transition into a full time metal fabricator.

Hopefully you can give me some guidance in buiding a power hammer like yours.
